TradingView Premium features free: where each one is in SuperCharting

TradingView Premium features free in SuperCharting: 16 charts, bar replay, tick charts, footprint, volume profile and open-ended alerts, mapped one by one.

Many traders look for TradingView Premium features free because they need two or three of them every day, not the whole package. SuperCharting currently gives every account a feature set modelled on TradingView's Premium list at no cost. This page goes through that list item by item and tells you where each feature is in SuperCharting, how to open it, and where it works differently.

The TradingView Premium features, free in SuperCharting

TradingView publishes what each of its plans includes on its pricing page; check there for its current plans and prices. SuperCharting has one set of limits for every account, and it is free today. The table maps the features most people ask about.

How each group works

Charts and layouts

A tab can hold up to 16 charts, each with up to 50 indicators and up to 40,000 bars. The layout's Sync in layout switches link the symbol, interval and crosshair across the grid. The multi-chart layouts page covers grid choice and saving.

Intervals and chart types

The seconds and tick intervals are made from the live quotes the site receives for a symbol, not from a history download. That means a 10-tick chart of BTCUSD grows while you watch, but a symbol nobody has opened recently starts short. Custom intervals such as 45m, 3h, 2D or 3M are built from finer bars and work like the standard ones; see custom timeframes.

Order-flow style views

Volume footprint, Time price opportunity and the session volume profile are built the way TradingView describes them: each bar is cut into price rows and the volume of finer bars inside it is added up. SuperCharting's feeds supply one-minute candles at best, so buy and sell volume are estimated from whether each finer candle closed up or down. That is useful for seeing where volume traded, but it is not tick-level bid and ask data. More in volume candles and footprint and volume profile.

Alerts

Price alerts and technical alerts (script, strategy and multi-condition) each have their own 1,000 limit. An alert can fire once, once per bar, once per bar close or every time, and can be sent to a webhook or Telegram. Alerts run on the site, so they keep working with the browser closed, but they do not fire on bars you are replaying.

How to try five Premium features in SuperCharting

  1. Open NSE:RELIANCE on 15m. In the chart type menu choose Volume footprint and zoom in until the price rows show.
  2. Click Bar replay, click a bar from last week to start, then press play and set Replay speed to 3x. Exit with Exit Bar Replay.
  3. Open the interval menu, choose Add custom interval…, enter 45 minutes and switch the chart to it.
  4. Click Create alert, set Condition to Crossing at a round price, click Add condition, pick a script on the chart as the second source and one of its alert conditions, choose All conditions are met, and set Expiration to Open-ended.
  5. Open the layout menu, choose Download chart data…, and save the CSV of the visible bars and plots.

Example: a watchlist alert

Make a watchlist called "Banks" with NSE:HDFCBANK, NSE:ICICIBANK, NSE:SBIN, NSE:AXISBANK and NSE:KOTAKBANK. From the watchlist title menu choose Alert on this list…. The dialog starts from "Moving Up % 1"; keep it or change it, and the site creates one alert per symbol, grouped under the list name. That uses 1 of the 15 watchlist alerts. See watchlists and watchlist alerts.

What is not on the list

A few things from TradingView's Premium description are not code features, and SuperCharting handles them differently. It does not sell professional exchange data packages; its Indian data comes from the site's Angel One feed. Support is by email. There are no ads. And because SuperCharting is a separate product, things tied to TradingView's own network (its community feed, its broker integrations, its mobile apps) are not part of it.

Frequently asked questions

Are these features free for every account?

Yes. SuperCharting is currently free, and every account gets the same limits. Paid plans may be introduced later; if so, this page will say what changes.

Are the tick charts real tick history?

No. They are built from the live quotes the site has received, kept for seven days. They are best for watching the current session.

Is the footprint chart the same as TradingView's?

It follows the same method but uses one-minute candles at best, so buy and sell volume are estimates, not exchange bid and ask prints.

Can I set an alert on a formula chart?

Not yet. Formula charts such as NSE:RELIANCE/NSE:TCS draw and take indicators, but alerts on them are refused with a message.

Is SuperCharting connected to TradingView?

No. TradingView is a trademark of TradingView, Inc.; SuperCharting is not affiliated with it. The feature names follow TradingView's so they are easy to find.

Try it on a live chart

SuperCharting runs in your browser: charts, Pine-compatible scripts, the Strategy Tester, alerts and the screener, with Indian and global markets.
